Parents will get the opportunity at the Course Planning Evening on Thursday 23rd February 2012 (6.00pm) to discover more about the Learning Choices available for pupils entering S3.
At the S2 Parents’ Evening on Tuesday 6th March 2012, parents will have the opportunity to discuss in more detail their son/daughter’s school report with their subject teachers.

S1 Parents’ Night – re-scheduled – 15 February 2012
This letter was issued to all S1 pupils on Wednesday 25th January 2012 to take home to their parents.

Girvan Academy will close at 2.30pm on Friday 23rd December 2011 for the Christmas Holidays.

S4 – Extended Study Leave/Cancelled Prelim
Further to the disruption to exams on Thursday 8th December 2011 due to the adverse weather conditions, study leave will be extended and exams re-scheduled. Letters will be posted to all S4 parents today.
Extended Study Leave
Study Leave will now run until Friday 16th December, all S4 pupils should return to school on Monday 19th December 2011 at 8.45am.
