The form is very straightforward to complete. You can download a copy of the for here or you can also contact our school office who will sent you a copy. If you are eligible and apply this means that the amount of Pupil Equity Funding allocated to the school from Scottish Government may increase. We are certain we have a number of families who will be entitled to this allowance and who may be missing out. The allowance young people get in school can be used at both interval and lunchtime. The cashless system operated within school means that the allowance is added automatically to their card.

Girvan Academy is visited by a Skills Development Scotland Careers Adviser throughout the year to help students find out what is next for them after school or in preparation for finding the right career.
Susan Wood is Girvan Academy careers advisor and be contacted via the details below. Through a combination of group sessions within guidance classes and assemblies and one-to-one interviews Susan will help to understand how the students’ personality, interests and values are key to making the right career decisions.
